Physics Toolbox Suite is an app that has a multitude of scientific tools that any mobile device can emulate. Weather students need a gyroscope, GPS, light meter, UV meter, barometer, pitch detector, color detector or tone generator, plus many more, this app can do it. This website will connect educators to either the Google Play store or Apple store to download the correct suite or tool needed. Choose from the menu bar at the top of the website to be directed to the correct device store. Apps work on both phones and tablets.

Leaf Snap is the first in a series of electronic field guides being developed by researchers from Columbia University, the University of Maryland, and the Smithsonian Institution. This free mobile app uses visual recognition software to help identify tree species from photographs of their leaves. Leafsnap contains beautiful high-resolution images of leaves, flowers, fruits, petioles, seeds, and bark to aid identification.
